The Star Cafe @ Taman Danau Desa, again :D

I've blogged about this restaurant before,

and I was glad to return!

This time with guests :3

Papa ordered Sang Har Meen, and this was actually pretty good :)

This is my spaghetti alfredo,

though this disappointed me a little as there was not much taste,

and the chicken was rather bland :/

There was also, banana fritters with ice cream,

and this I love :D

We stayed till the band came,

and they were AMAZING :D

The Shang Palace @ Hotel Shang-Ri La

Had lunch with the Phang's :D

We were at the Shang Palace at Shang-Ri La Hotel

and I've actually been there a few times cause somehow my family loves the food there xD

This was what was on the table xD

Since it's Chinese New Year,

you gotta start with the Yee Sang ;)

The purpose of this is to have happiness among all your family members,

and usually you would wish for the best to all your family members while mixing this :D

We had prawns, 

with they're own mayonnaise.

It was HEAVENLY x3

For my readers,

in case you don't know, I am a HUGE fan of prawns

and this dish was amazing xD

To maintain a healthy meal,

we ordered vegetables,

mainly beans with lotus roots and nuts(forgot what nuts they were) and also asparagus

This was actually called four something something (I'm not too good with cantonese names)

and it consists of:

Siew Mai with Abalone,

Yam ball with pork fillings,

Scallop,

and fried mushrooms :D

Yong Chow fried rice,

a normal favourite of many :3

SIEW LONG BAO!!!! :D

Although these were a little on the dry side,

and the skin was a bit too thick for my taste :/

This dish goes with the "Lam Mei Fan" 

because in my opinion, 

it didn't have much flavour in it.

These are chinese sausages by the way,

and they are pretty salty.

But the family loves it xD

Welcome to the Year of the Snake!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE

How's the day been so far? :D

The first day of Chinese New Year is always usually the most hectic and tiring day.

Because before that, we'd be cleaning up our houses so that our relatives would have a good impression.

Also, we'd be relatives :D

So this is how my CNY was :)

Received this from dad's colleague.

It's BEAUTIFUL.

They're butter cupcakes with red sugar icing on top designed as roses.

There were 14 of them :D

As the tradition goes,

before Chinese New Year itself,

it's culture that families get together and have what we call a "reunion dinner"

Usually we'd have homecooked meals and just sit around the table bonding and catching up :D

This was a behind the scene of the chicken,

it was cut up after that ><

And for buddhists, (well my family anyway)

on the first day of Chinese New Year,

we would have breakfast together after the tea giving ceremony and before the guests arrive :D

And the food is vegetarian as we will be vegetarian's the whole day :D

Homecooked vegetarian meal,

I LOVE BEANCURD

This is a picture of the grandfather clock in my grandfather's house,

apparently it has  A LOT of history behind it as it already existed before my grandfather was born :D

Which means,

this survived the Japanese occupation in Malaysia and everything,

if this clock could talk,

I bet there would be tons of stories :D

Well,

so far that has been my Chinese New Year,

I didn't take any pictures of guests because I was busy talking to them :D

FATTY MOK YONG TAU FOO :D

Returned to Fatty Mok for Yong Tau Foo :D

That place is LOVE I tell you haha

and they had new additions so we tried the fried rice.

It was.. rather tasteless >-<

I can't really give a review now cause I've been really busy ><

Its food anyway :P

It's GOOD XD

And service is REALLY fast :) 

Would advise you to go there early as people will start coming fast :D

Kiku Zakura @ Mid Valley Megamall

I really think my blog is turning into a food blog...

Sorry! 

Service wise, it was slow because we were seated at the back,

so we weren't very noticeable. 

But the food was good :3

So I would return there :)

Lammeeya @ Paradigm Mall, Kelana Jaya

Mummy, lil sis and I decided to try Lammeeya,

cause we were in Paradigm Mall and we couldn't find this in Mid Valley.

Funny enough, 

Lameeya is famous for it's Lam Mee or Loh Mee,

For some reason, we didn't order it HAHA

This is what I had :)

Fried dumplings,

the first batch wasn't cooked perfectly,

so the waiter changed to another set for us :)

Service points +5! :D

Had curry mee,

it was quite good actually,

though I've had better but this is still something worth trying.

It's not very spicy so don't worry,

and it's not very overpowering either.

But the flaw was that there wasn't much soup with it.

I needed a bit more :/

and it would've been really good :)

Overall, 

service was good and the food was also enjoyable :)

I had a great time at Paradigm Mall, because H&M was there xD

Lil' Sis's Sweet 16 @ Italiannies, The Gardens

Celebrated lil sis' sweet 16 today :D

She's all grown up :')

Not really.

Had dinner with the family and sis's friends at Italiannies :D

This is what we had :DD

Sis and her friend shared some good beef lasagna :D

Dad ordered awesome stuffed mushrooms.

Who knew mushrooms would taste SO good ._.

Dad also ordered a pepperoni pizza,

though this one wasn't to my liking cause it tasted funny :X

Also had their famous spaghetti and meatballs :D

Feel so Italian xD

And lastly, 

Classic Carbonara which is almost everyone's favourite! :D

As usual, 

their service is AMAZING :D

Very friendly :)

I'm pretty sure I've blogged about Italiannies before though,

so I won't post where they're at here and also probably cause you guys would already know where they're at xD

Har Mee @ PJ and a day at Mid Valley

First week of college is over :3

Tired x.x

Had Har Mee at PJ today :D

My favourite food and this was the first Har Mee I ever tasted xD

Went to Mid Valley after that,

saw some people singing CNY songs, 

I think they're famous cause everyone was like taking pictures,

I don't know them, but I take anyway xD

Someone tell me who they are please ><

After that, I went of to the arcade to meet with boyfie and play maimai ><

Seriously, I'm addicted LOL

When we got back, mummy said she bought this for sis and I!!!

Lip Smackers!!!

They were in sooo many flavours :3

I LOVE YOU MUMMY XD

Then came home and just stoned, 

do some college related stuff and literally just stoned xD

I hope tomorrow will be a super exciting day ><

A very lazy Sunday

Today, I'm going to blog about my sofas. 

Why my sofa? Cause it's been one of my favourite part of the house LOL

This set of sofas is so comfortable,

you can just sleep on it ><

and you will wake up in the morning LOL

Unfortunately, 

it's old ady :(

So ze parents decided to get a new sofa set,

and decided to give this away ><

Bye bye sofa,

I'll miss you :'(

Currently,

my living room is sofa-less so we are like hobo's sitting on the floor watching tv

Our new sofa set will only come around next week,

so we're waiting :D

Will post a picture of it when it arrives! 

Short post today,

cause it was a very lazy Sunday,

and I didn't do anything exciting ><

An hour at the Gym! :D

That is not the gym I was at,

I didn't take any pictures because I was doing what I was suppose to be doing,

exercising xD

Yes, THE Jessica went to the gym,

and worked out LOLOL

I guess, I want my flat tummy, and awesome looking legs :3

IT'S HEALTHY :3

but I have one weakness,

FOOD.

I came home from a 1 hour workout,

and I hate my dinner.

Imagine the calories I'm re-gaining 

HAHAHAH

But this year,

I will try to go and workout more often :3

and I will get my flat tummy,

achieved this year I hope :3

I've got an interesting post coming up tomorrow :3

Din Tai Fung @ The Gardens Mall

I don't know how to start this blog post.. ._. cause I ran out of ideas...

But I'll be starting like normal...

Had lunch at Din Tai Fung, The Gardens

and ordered their famous, SIEW LONG BAO!!!

Seriously, I've never tasted any siew long bao that's tastier than this

I'm hungry just thinking about it.. LOL

Also, I had their Pork Chop Lam Mee :D

Because I love the noodles

Somehow, they just taste so good! 

YUM YUM YUM :D

Oh gosh, I'm getting hungry

It's a short post today, 

because I'm having something important on tomorrow,

Ah Tuan Ee's @ The Curve, Numbered painting

Spent the day at Ikea, Ikano Power Centre and The Curve

Bought some pretty cool stuff too! 

Had lunch at Ah Tuan Ee's 

Since I can't bite due to newly put elastics, 

I couldn't really eat these delicious Pai Tee's :(

But I managed to gobble a small part of it :3

and it was good :D

Sis ordered Taufoo 

and this wasn't exactly to my taste, but it is alright :D

Mum bought me numbered painting so I can feel like a pro :P

and cause I just love this things,

now you know I'm not pro :x

Either way, I'm gonna post the finished product kay? :D

Had a pretty tiring day but I IZ A HAPPY GIRL :D

Ying Ker Lou @ The Gardens Mall

Had lunch with ze mom after my dental appointment :D

I'm back on elastics :((

Painful shizz Dx

So, I can't bite for a day at least :(

So we decided to head to Ying Ker Lou ;D

Ordered pan mee, 

cause it was slippery and soft :3

It was the first time I was trying Ying Ker Lou

and this was not bad actually :)

but the servings are a bit big >-<

Mum gave me some of her porridge 

but I couldn't eat it cause the pan mee filled up my tummy 

I was too full to eat LOL

We had set lunches so we each had a herbal drink and some sweet potato dessert

I didn't take a picture cause I was too busy eating :X

Service was also average

and there weren't too many people :)

Overall, 

it was a good and satisfying meal :)

Mum also bought back some porridge for my dinner :D

I would return :D

So the meal today is in...

Plan B at Mid Valley Megamall! 

Mummy, sis and I decided to just have water,

but they put it in these bottles I felt so hillbilly xD

Ordered a mushroom soup,

it's chunky, not artificial,

I like it :D

though it was a pretty big bowl ._.

This is lil' sis's

Some corn beef hash thing

It tasted okay, but I liked my dish more :P

and because it was pretty filling 

EGGS BENEDICT!

This is a first time, 

but it tasted good,

I like it,

I will order that again! :D

Those who have not tried Plan B,

I recommend you too,

Prepare some cash, 

and don't order too much cause their servings are HUGE 

:D
