Taylor's Recruitment Drive and assignments?!

Actually I'm really busy right now,

cause it's late and I need to finish my homework.

No holiday tomorrow :/

So today, school had a recruitment drive :)

Basically, it's all the clubs gathering at one part of the campus and getting people to join their clubs!

Taylor's has 42 clubs,

so you can somewhat guess how crowded the place was x.x

So I joined/signed up for

Student council, L.I.V.E, Dance club, Wacky :3

Hope I can cope this sem ><

A typical day :)

I actually have nothing interesting to blog about today,

but I'll update whatever I've been doing yes? :)

and this is just a quick update because it's been a busy day, 

and I REALLY need to get back to my homework(s)

So these are just snapshots of flyers everywhere in the school,

cause extra curricular activities are starting soon,

and there are JUST SO MANY CLUBS

I don't know what to join and all because I'm worried about being able to cope :/

But anyway,

going to try for student council,

cause I wanna feel being a leader xD

this adds stress to a lot of things,

since my course is only for a year,

I gotta pick and apply for universities already ._.

Super stress right? Dx

As I grow older, the busier I become wth -.-

Also as part of my NEEDED community service hours,

though I'll always be glad to try something new,

I'm volunteering for the WWF Earth Hour! :D

This is going to be my first time doing something like this,

so I'm actually pretty excited :3

Well,

that's the short update,

assignments and homework NEEDS to be completed,

cause I'm determined to be a good student this year,

because I was able to CHOOSE my subjects xD

Classroom Café @ SS15, Subang Jaya

I'm posting early today cause I have to finish my homework haha

It's another food post :/

But I AM studying in a place where I'm surrounded by food stalls ._.

Visited the Classroom Cafe today :)

It was a cafe where you can also go there for games. 

And there were A LOT of them. 

World of Warcraft is also available there :)

very long room isn't it? xD

So we thought it was a good deal,

cause they had set lunches for RM8.90!!! 

Each set comes with a drink and the food choices actually looked good xD

Most of us including me had a Michael Jackson to drink :3

This is what I ordered: Tomato Fried Rice/Omu Rice 

It was good,

but service was VERY slow.

We noticed that they only had one person do the cooking,

but it took a VERY long time to prepare ONE dish.

We were there for almost an hour ONLY to receive and finish our food at almost 1.50pm.

We were there since 1.15pm,

so service wise on food,

I'm giving it a thumbs down unless you have plenty of time to kill,

unlike some of us who had classes at 2.15pm.

That part was VERY disappointing.

But the food was good (thank goodness),

a friend ordered their carbonara set, 

and it tasted good because it is VERY creamy :)

Honestly speaking, 

I think they would prefer having people for games rather than food because they REALLY had a lot.

The food took so long to prepare I was beginning to think they were very unprepared for it.

and somehow there was no one there :X 

I don't know if it was our luck, or if it really is like that

because I've read people blogging good things about them.

Service wise, it was slow because we were seated at the back,

so we weren't very noticeable. 

But the food was good :3

So I would return there :)

Lammeeya @ Paradigm Mall, Kelana Jaya

Mummy, lil sis and I decided to try Lammeeya,

cause we were in Paradigm Mall and we couldn't find this in Mid Valley.

Funny enough, 

Lameeya is famous for it's Lam Mee or Loh Mee,

For some reason, we didn't order it HAHA

This is what I had :)

Fried dumplings,

the first batch wasn't cooked perfectly,

so the waiter changed to another set for us :)

Service points +5! :D

Had curry mee,

it was quite good actually,

though I've had better but this is still something worth trying.

It's not very spicy so don't worry,

and it's not very overpowering either.

But the flaw was that there wasn't much soup with it.

I needed a bit more :/

and it would've been really good :)

Overall, 

service was good and the food was also enjoyable :)

I had a great time at Paradigm Mall, because H&M was there xD

Lil' Sis's Sweet 16 @ Italiannies, The Gardens

Celebrated lil sis' sweet 16 today :D

She's all grown up :')

Not really.

Had dinner with the family and sis's friends at Italiannies :D

This is what we had :DD

Sis and her friend shared some good beef lasagna :D

Dad ordered awesome stuffed mushrooms.

Who knew mushrooms would taste SO good ._.

Dad also ordered a pepperoni pizza,

though this one wasn't to my liking cause it tasted funny :X

Also had their famous spaghetti and meatballs :D

Feel so Italian xD

And lastly, 

Classic Carbonara which is almost everyone's favourite! :D

As usual, 

their service is AMAZING :D

Very friendly :)

I'm pretty sure I've blogged about Italiannies before though,

so I won't post where they're at here and also probably cause you guys would already know where they're at xD

Today is technically a good day for me :)

Had a day off college,

but went to college to meet up with my partner to do our assignment anyway 

HAHA so rajin right?

So after a while,

of course I'll take some pictures because I get distracted xD

Day out with the girls xD

Haha going to spare you a food post today.

Cause I ate food I already blogged about xD

Went out with mah highschool girls today

It's really awesome how last minute we can be now xD

We went at 10.30AM and there was ALREADY  a crowd.

Wth is this. This isn't suppose to happen -.-

Usually Mid Valley would be empty at that time,

but it wasn't. People were EVERYWHERE. 

Went to play maimai for 1 round.

Then it started getting crowded so decided to leave.

See I got such awesome self control :P

There was a lion dance going on, 

but they were still setting up while we were still waiting :/

So we gave up and went away LOL

Watched Hansel and Gretal,

it was gory but I enjoyed it,

cause Jeremy Renner is in it xD

Pork Noodles @ Subang Jaya

This is what I had for breakfast

It was quite good, and when I went to order,

they actually told me that it would take 20 minutes,

but this was worth the wait :D

It cost me RM5.80 so.. I guess.. it's okay... ><

I have holiday assignment and homework T.T 

So much for relaxing Dx

But I shall be organized and finish them as fast as possible :D

Crime Prevention Workshop @ Taylor's College

Had a crime and prevention workshop today at college,

Attendance was compulsory for all freshmen -3-

So waited at school from 1pm-2pm just so we could attend the workshop which was at 2pm - 4pm!

It's not really good timing,

but I guess it was reasonable since they joined all CAL, SAM and CPU students :3

Since we were somewhat bored,

the talk was interesting okay, we just couldn't stand not talking for too long xD

the talk had some interesting points because it is true that the world isn't a VERY safe place to walk around without precautions xD

So yes, I had a request to share some of the tips I learnt on the day :D

So I will try to remember as many as I can because I spent almost the whole time laughing xD

1. When someone snatches your handbag/bag, let them take it. It's better than being dragged and killed in the process.

2. Always be alert. Cause no matter how revealing your clothes are or are not, you will STILL get raped.

3. Always carry a pepper spray with you. Especially ladies, always hang put them somewhere easily accessible because you don't want to be digging your bag for it while that person is attacking you.

4. When you have been attacked, always attack the centre of the body of the attacker. 

5. Keys are good weapons. 

6. Ladies, don't hesitate to kick your male attacker in the groin when attacked. Kick as hard as you can and better yet, use high heels xD

7. Try your best to learn self defence so that you can increase your accuracy and strength. 

8. Mentally prepare yourself for situations where you would be in danger, that way you won't panic when the real deal happens :D

Char Koey Teow @ Kwai Sun and a cockroach -.-

This is what I had for lunch today.

Char Koey Teow at Kwai Sun.

It was nice actually.

But what frustrates me was not how long it took for my food to come..

It was a fact that there was a cockroach in the restaurant.

Probably multiple.

"So? It's just a cockroach. What's there to be scared about? Just ignore it"

The thing is, 

I can't. 

I find cockroaches very disturbing and I freak out really badly when I see one.

I freak out less when there are spiders, flies..

But when I see cockroaches and butterflies,

I freak.

Especially when they fly -.-

What's worse,

I took my food to another table cause it was LITERALLY under the table,

it followed me -.-

It FLEW towards me -.-

I'm pretty sure everyone in the coffeeshop stared at me ><

But I can't stop my natural freaking out reflexes 

It's just really gross Dx

I think as much as the char koey teow was good,

I don't wanna go back there again -.-

Baby Isabelle's Christening @ Teck Wah

As the title says,

I attended a christening lunch today LOL

Baby Isabelle is my.. distant cousin. 

Very. Distant.

But nonetheless, she is ADORABLE 

So here's what I had xD

This was a boat with scallops, pork ribs, fish ball and octopus 

:D

There were steamed fish, fried chicken and vegetables but I forgot to take pictures of them :(

It's a pretty common dessert la ><

That was it for today,

cause the lunch was REALLY heavy and I didn't really eat much of dinner :/

Had Har Mee at PJ today :D

My favourite food and this was the first Har Mee I ever tasted xD

Went to Mid Valley after that,

saw some people singing CNY songs, 

I think they're famous cause everyone was like taking pictures,

I don't know them, but I take anyway xD

After that, I went of to the arcade to meet with boyfie and play maimai ><

Seriously, I'm addicted LOL

When we got back, mummy said she bought this for sis and I!!!

Lip Smackers!!!

They were in sooo many flavours :3

I LOVE YOU MUMMY XD

Then came home and just stoned, 

do some college related stuff and literally just stoned xD

A typical day of food and school

That was in my Introduction questionnaire for Writers Craft :3

It took me a while to draw/doodle.

I finally was quite satisfied with this LOL

Writer's Craft is fun,

it helps me relax, and also teaches me how to write better,

also puts me in the same room as other amazing writers :D

Had homemade pizza for dinner today :D

Delicious stuff, my father makes xD

Had this at a coffee shop near the CPU building :D,

it's not bad and it cost me RM4.50-ish

but don't drink the soup cause it tastes like water LOL

other than that, it's tolerable ><

Can't post much today,

cause I've got to read a whole bunch of literature so I can decide which one to research on.

and I need to do it FAST,

so I'm planning to settle it tonight hahah

In Taylors,

and I am lucky to have found my food loving bunch xD

So!

Had lunch at Amma's Curry House,

Didn't take a picture of the menu cause we were rushing,

and we all ordered the same thing,

the student's meal :P

The Street Cafe @ SS15/8, Subang Jaya

I finally get to do a food post,

but be warned it's not like a SUPER recommendation

><

I'm not degrading it okay,

it just didn't suit my taste

So had "lunch" at The Street Cafe with college buddies :D

It's a korean restaurant so korean food lovers, I'll let you be the judge here :D

I only had this... I think it's called a kimbab ><

It's like an onigiri,

and its fillings were tuna mayo, my favourite xD

Though as a Japanese food lover, 

I definitely prefer onigiri's :D

I forgot what it was called but it sure looks spicy ><

The service was actually pretty slow as we were hoping to rush back for classes,

also I can't say much about the food quality as I did not really like my kimbab because it tasted really weird :/

I'm not sure if I'm going to return to The Street Cafe, 

but those who are interested in giving it a shot for your own judgement,
