Freak Storm in Taman Desa!

Just when I thought the day wouldn't be any worse, 

A flash storm hit Taman Desa (where I am)

It was really shocking that it happened. 

Because I've been living here for 17 years and this never happened.

To make it as practice I shall attempt to write a report :D 

Flash Flood Hit Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur

25th January 2012

At about 5.30pm, there was rain as expected in a peaceful area, Taman Desa. When 6.00pm struck on the clock, the rain began to fall heavier and not long after it was raining cats and dogs. 

Little did the peaceful residents know what was about to hit them. 

Gradually, the rain began to fall heavier and heavier and the gusts of wind became faster and harder. Not long after, what could be said as a mini tornado hit Taman Desa. Strong winds can be felt by residents all over Taman Desa. 

Though it did not last long, damage was caused it parts of the area, some serious, some not. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Trees fell on cars, some blocked most of the roads leading into Taman Desa. Some households were mildly damaged. There were also electricity blackouts due to fallen trees on wires. 

Tiles of roofs fell off, pots flying, all happened during the storm...

Blerh, I can't continue this,

I need some casual writing...

Anyways, 

there were actually some pretty bad damage done to possessions all around. 

I actually saw the wind blowing really hard. 

My plants are probably partially bald now. 

It was a really bad sight honestly,

Gong Xi Fa Cai! 恭喜發財！

First day of Chinese New Year! 

The start of a whole new lunar calendar! 

The collection of angpau's or red packets!

Hahahah basically, it was quite a normal day for me. 

Except with the appearance of red packets. :D

Woke up at 7am cause of reasons. 

Couldn't go back to sleep so decided to get ready :D

Even by waking up early, I still couldn't get ready in time. Sheesh. =3=

Made our way to my grandma's house,

Which was like what? 200 meters away? =X

Had the usual 'tea ceremony'

Yea, my family follows the tradition :D

Got my starting red packets, 

Then we had brunch:

Oh gosh, I'm gonna grow so F-A-T =((

While the adults are entertaining guests in the living room,

and Since the kids can't exactly blend in,

We ended up taking picture in the KITCHEN. Hahahah

 After the whole brunch, people visiting us thing,

Two Days to Chinese New Year! :D

SO excited!! 

Went to the club with Candace today~ 

Had a GREAT swim :D

Had good food too at my dad's resto after that too! xD

Then, we had dinner at the Dragon Hut Restaurant located near Desa Waterpark :) With my Singaporean cousins OF COURSE :D

She's 8, but she has the maturity of a 13 year-old =O

Gonna miss them :(

Surprise!

The amount of things I got this year <3

From all sorts of people :D

Part of the "Jakuns" threw me a surprise party today.
I never expected they would in the first place though I had my suspicions hahah

I still love them <3

Learnt how to fold a paper rose.
Best thing ever.

They got me Opera cake. My favourite. YUM~ xD
Sadly I so totally forgot to take a picture of it.
But it's currently in my fridge.

It's left for the people who didn't manage to get a slice of it :D

Apparently, my tuition teacher was also involved. LOL
My sister dragged me to my window, and I saw a bunch of hobo-looking people with umbrella's and a lighted up candle on a cake.
Then they all just started singing "Happy Birthday"

LOL.

My reaction after that:
>Shocked
>Responded with "People in tuition la!"
>Returned to the room in the state of shock
>Forgot to let the hobo's in the house

Hahahah!

Stale Seventeen

Happy Birthday to Me~

Turned 17 today, officially
I don't know whether to be happy or not ._.
I'm waiting for my cake though :P



School was normal,
but since it was my birthday,
had birthday wishes and unexpected gifts,

That was always the best part about everything :)

Dad wasn't able to have dinner with us today :(
So, it wasn't a total celebration... yet
Most like will be having a family dinner on Sunday :))


But either way, Mom brought us out for dinner.
First time having Korean food :)

Ate at Dubu Dubu, Mid Valley :D

The Start

School officially started last Wednesday. 

To my surprise, we already had work to do on the VERY FIRST day :(

But we were allowed to reuse our Form 4 exercise books, 

Sadly, most of mine probably would have been incinerated by now :((

I'm such a bad citizen =X

On the bright side, I've got presents from my friends =) 

They were some AWESOME-LY cute presents :))

I got those presents on either Thursday or Friday, 

Let's talk about today! =) 

Woke up at 6AM to get ready for my 5 hour undang course. 

Went to the driving school at 7AM cause they told me to.

Took about an hour BEFORE we even left for Damansara =3=

Was expecting like some really cool place for our undang lecture 

But we ended up in some sort of weird caravan classrooms... At least they have air-conditioners :D

Otherwise both the students and the teachers would've been fried under the Malaysian weather =X

Oh Oh! And we also got some sort of cool smartcard B)

I wouldn't say I met tons of friends

Since I am "half banana" and most of them there aren't the least bit "bananas"

I did meet this dude, whom I did not get his name throughout the entire thing nor did he know mine =O 

But I did manage to FINALLY socialise with these two girls whom... I also forgot their names =X

Conclusion: If I don't learn how to socialize soon, I'm going to be forever alone :((

But the first half of the course was great. It was funny and all. I shall stop before I talk about the second half :x

Well, that was technically ALL I did today since I came home only at about 4-ish. So yeah. 

AND GUESS WHAT?! 

I FOUND OUT THAT WONGFU IS COMING TO MALAYSIA!!! 

OMG! TOTAL WONGFU FAN HERE!! *fangirl scream*

I SO TOTALLY WANNA GO!!! BUT OF ALL YEARS. =3= 

I'll get my butt there I tell you :X

Countdown :D

Hahah I know the countdown for New Year's is over. I'm counting down for the start of the school semester X_X 

It's gonna be time to study like some freaking maniac soon. This year's the time where I gotta sit for SPM. Die die die x3x

Holes Inside - Joe Brookes is for SOME reason playing on my sister's iTunes. LOL The song isn't that bad actually =P Hahah 

Been buying CNY clothes lately, can't say I bought much. =/ Trying to change my style this year, but I'm kinda having problems with them. I need help. =|

Went to the Kenanga Wholesale Plaza yesterday. Went to Sunway today. Oh gawd, I swear, this holiday has been so FULL of shopping. LOL 

Well, my sister's blog is kinda cool, so I'm gonna learn how to do cool stuffs with this. NYAHAHAHA >=D

Honestly, I'm so jealous of her. =/
