Flying Chillies @ The Gardens Mall

In all my food escapades,
I finally managed to try one of the restaurants I've always wanted to try

Yeap, Flying Chillies at The Gardens :)

I've been to The Gardens so many times,
but I never did try this restaurant cause I was afraid the dishes would be too spicy :X

But I did it this time!
With mom of course xD
We sat down, ordered and waited
Hence, the picture

We ordered Tomyam Goong
To us, its a MUST have in every Thai meal

and yes, this was VERY VERY SPICY
I can taste the chilli itself from the first spoon I drank.
Well, the taste mostly consists of chilli in my opinion @.@

Then of course, Green Curry :)
It's curry, just green in colour

This was not as spicy as the Tomyam and was quite delicious too!

To cool our tastebuds, we ordered Stir-fried Beancurd with Prawn and Mushrooms
This really really helped

The gravy was good and this was overall the best out of the three we ordered

We then ordered some Tab Tim Krob/Red Ruby after that,
and this was NOT satisfying :/

The nangka fruit tasted frozen,
the ice chunks were too big thus diluting the dessert
The water chestnuts were fine
but the coconut milk is obviously powder
and it is VERY clearly seen

Used a macro on the Lumix,
it's visible enough I hope

Not what I was expecting :| at all

I don't know about the other desserts,
but I know I am not ordering it again.

Overall,
it was not very satisfactory
:/
