Restoran Tak Fok @ Taman Desa

Right,
so guess where we're eating?
:D

Tak Fok at Taman Desa!
Their menu didn't have their restaurant name on it so I just took a picture of the crab dishes
cause their specialty is CRAB.

I know, it's a dream come true~

But somehow,
everytime we go and eat at Tak Fok, it rains. REAL HEAVY Dx
God, you just want to ruin it is it??

So anyway,
we had to sit outside since all the tables indoors were reserved
plus it's more cooling outside.

Had lots of seafood (love)
and probably also grew fatter T.T

That is fried squid :D

Then we had CRAB!!
Yum yum yum!

I think this was supposed to be butter crab or something,
but the sauce tasted like pasta sauce ._.

But it's still edible with man tao :D

Had lala soup.
This was my first time trying,
cause I have this skin condition that doesn't allow me to have seafood T.T
but I just paid a visit to a skin specialist,
it's healing so I can finally eat! :D

I can't really make a remark on it cause it was my first time ><

And also since we were "celebrating" uncle Princeton's birthday,
it's a family tradition that we have noodles :D
I think it's a Chinese culture but it sure is my family's.

This is Curry Prawn :D
DELICIOUS but then I say all prawns are delicious :P

and the last dish,
SOFT SHELL CRAB.

This I really recommend to have as a snack or something,
cause it's a good snack :P

The service,
I would say it's not TOO bad,
but it isn't very very great either because they are usually very busy as the restaurant is usually filled :/

If you really want to secure yourself a table,
I'd suggest you make a reservation :D
Otherwise, just show up REAL early :)

and the pricing is also quite reasonable :D

btw, THEY SERVE LOBSTER TOO! :D

Here's where they're located:

Restoran Tak Fok
No.26a,
Jalan Desa Jaya,
Taman Desa (Faber Plaza),
WP Kuala Lumpur,
58100,
 Malaysia

Eggceptional! :D

Ever seen these before? ;)
I don't know what they're really called,
but I'll just call them egg moulders :D

Why?
Because they mould eggs ;)

This is how it looks when you separate them :D

What you do is:

1.
Make a hard boiled egg
2.
Peel the egg and put it in the container shown above
3.
Leave it to cool/put it in cold water/fridge
(depending on what you prefer cause all tutorials are different)
4.
Take out the egg from the container and eat your shaped egg! :D

This was our attempt
The heart shaped container.

Looks alright, somewhat xD
First time okay :P

Slicing the egg to see how it looks inside

Okay, not so much of a perfect heart,
but still managed to see

p/s: for these moulds, remember to use large sized eggs. We used smaller one and as you can see, product not so nice :3

Next,
Star shaped container :D

With the egg after a while :D
Looks like a flower more than a star ._.

Slicing it :3

Okay, retarded looking egg
That's just because we used small eggs >3<

Either way,
If you one day decide to want a different shaped egg,
you can get these :D
It's fun and it wouldn't do anything to your egg except the shape!

To malaysians,
I got this at Daiso, Mid Valley
for RM5

Pretty cheap and it's really cute!
Go get them! :D
